Martello 662 restoration project
Welcome to the Martello restoration page
The volunteers of the Bressingham Steam Society are leading the project, with the support of Bressingham Steam's Trustees and staff to restore the locomotive Martello back into steam.
This project is only possible because of the donation of time and skills from the paid and unpaid staff at Bressingham and support from our donors. There are a number of one off donation options below. Thank you for your support. We need £15,000 to complete the project and as at 11/03/15 we have raised £1,800.
Please Gift Aid your donation if you are able, it means another 25% goes into the restoration pot. Unlike day tickets it costs no more to Gift Aid a donation.
We are uploading photos of the restoration process to our Gallery
Martello is under test before her official launch, we have completed the work, but still have to find money to pay all the bills.
As well as the links below we have also just launched our Martello 662 Upkeep Plan which is an affordable £6.62 a month - all proceeds (less the cost of collection) go solely into the fund to keep Martello running.
Or the original pledges are still open.
