Vintage/Bygone Rally Day
Vintage Rally and Full Steam Event.
Bressingham Steam Museum's Vintage/Bygones event 2018:
A wide variety of vintage agricultural machinery, tractors and steam engines will be on show at our annual bygones event.
Confirmed attending traction engines so far include:
Aveling and Porter 10 Ton e-type Single cylinder piston valve roller built in 1921. Works No.10126, Reg No. FX8651.
Queen Mary' Burrell Showman's Engine built in 1920. Works No. 1498, Reg No. BR1498. (Visting from the neighbouring Charles Burrell Museum in Thetford).
Bessie' Marshall Traction engine built in 1922. Works No. 75077. Reg No. BJ7640.
It will be a ‘Full Steam Day’ running all steamable engines at the museum. Martello, our recently restored Terrier Tank engine will be running for testing on the Standard Gauge Railway. 3 steam narrow gauge railways will be in operation as usual!
