Bressingham Steam & Gardens

Welcome to Bressingham Steam and Gardens where we are are proud to be keeping steam alive. Our 2024 season has now finished, you can visit us during December by booking our Christmas at Bressingham event, if not we will welcome you again in 2025. There is something for everyone at Bressingham. Take a trip on one of our four railways, get close-up to mighty steam engines in our locomotive shed and ride on the magnificent and historic gallopers. Wander through the main street of Walmington-on-Sea, home to a collection of Dad's Army displays and vehicles, see fascinating historic railway exhibits in our museum and enjoy the unique 17-acre Bressingham Gardens. Bressingham's wonderful steam collection was started by entrepreneur Alan Bloom. He opened his doors to the public more than 60 years ago to give everyone the chance to experience, enjoy and celebrate steam engineering.

Dogs

Dogs, with the exception of registered assistance dogs, are not permitted at the museum and gardens, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
