Bressingham Steam & Gardens
Welcome to Bressingham Steam and Gardens where we are are proud to be keeping steam alive. We are fully open for our 2024 season, and warmly invite you to visit us and experience the glorious sights, sounds and smells of the age of steam. There really is something for everyone at Bressingham. Take a trip on one of our four railways, get close-up to mighty steam engines in our locomotive shed and ride on the magnificent and historic gallopers. Wander through the main street of Walmington-on-Sea, home to a collection of Dad's Army displays and vehicles, see fascinating historic railway exhibits in our museum or enjoy the unique 17-acre Bressingham Gardens. Bressingham's wonderful steam collection was started by Alan Bloom in the late 1940s and he opened his doors to the public more than 60 years ago to give everyone the chance to experience, enjoy and celebrate steam engineering.
Our next special event
Come and see fire engines, old and new, along with other emergency service vehicles. Make sure the children don't miss our special guests on the day!
