Nights at the Museum

Join us for a relaxed evening of festive music, food and drinks on Friday 6th December. We will be joined by Norwich City Concert Band. Best of all, it's free entry!

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience Bressingham Steam Museum in a different way. From 6.00pm to 10.00pm everyone is welcome to come to the museum and enjoy the live music. There will be a licensed bar with a wide selection of local beers and wines available to buy.

Our lovely café team will be adjusting their menu for the evening to serve a tasty selection of food for you to enjoy, and the sweet shop and ice-cream hut will also be open to make sure there's something for everyone's tastes.

The museum exhibits will be open for people to explore and the gallopers will run from 6.00pm to 8.00pm with rides being available at a small charge.

Norwich City Concert Band will play 2 sets starting at 7:30pm.

This event will take place within our Exhibition Hall.

Come and join us for a great festive evening in a wonderful setting.

Please note: only the Main Exhibition Hall will be open. All other exhibition spaces and locos sheds will be close. The Gardens are also closed.

Our railways

Bressingham is a great day out for everyone who loves railways. We have three narrow gauge passenger railways, along with a standard gauge demonstration railway, with journeys over three miles of track.

Our gardens

Bressingham's four linking gardens cover 17 acres and are renowned for their horticultural excellence. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around this peaceful natural haven, or better still, see them from one of our fabulous steam engines.

Our museum

Walk into our exhibition hall and be transported back to the 1940s, with a full-size street scene, Dad's Army displays, vintage vehicles, traction engines, living vans and even an Anderson shelter. The museum is also home to a full size Travelling Post Office (TPO), so climb aboard and see if you can match the speedy sorting skills of postal workers!
