Home of colour and drama since 1953, Bressingham Gardens are the result of the passion and dedication of three generations of the Bloom family.

Originally created on grazing farmland to display the Blooms of Bressingham Nursery perennial plants, the gardens today feature thousands of species and varieties of plants in a series of linked gardens, providing endless inspirational ideas throughout the year.

*Please note - the gardens have grass pathways and whilst many wheelchair users are able to navigate the gardens with ease, sometimes it can be difficult especially after periods of prolonged wet weather.

Our railways

Bressingham is a great day out for everyone who loves railways. We have three narrow gauge passenger railways, along with a standard gauge demonstration railway, with journeys over three miles of track.

Our gardens

Bressingham's four linking gardens cover 17 acres and are renowned for their horticultural excellence. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around this peaceful natural haven, or better still, see them from one of our fabulous steam engines.

Our museum

Walk into our exhibition hall and be transported back to the 1940s, with a full-size street scene, Dad's Army displays, vintage vehicles, traction engines, living vans and even an Anderson shelter. The museum is also home to a full size Travelling Post Office (TPO), so climb aboard and see if you can match the speedy sorting skills of postal workers!
