Heritage Steam Gala 2024
A gala event with visiting traction engines.

Our annual heritage steam gala is one of the biggest events in our calendar. Primarily aimed at steam enthusiasts, it ends up being great fun for the entire family.
We aim to operate all four of our railways, have a large number of visiting road steam engines, steam farmyard demonstrations and a mixture of stationary and portable engines running.
There will be an intensive timetable on the Fen Railway with a total of four steam locomotives running a mixture of passenger, freight and double headers throughout each of the three days.
We are also excited to announce that we will be having a guest locomotive on the Fen Railway. Hunslet Steam No. 3905 “Jennie” will be joining us for the weekend all the way from Amerton Railway.
All of this alongside the fabulous Bressingham Gardens, Victorian Gallopers and our museum and exhibition buildings, plus the opportunity to see progress on our current restoration projects.
